Happy 4th!

We had a really good 4th of July. First we washed both cars and waxed the blazer, cleaned them inside and out. I know, sounds boring, but it really needed to be done and it was nice being outside. Will helped hose them down then while we were washing and vaccuuming he sat inside the cars and pretended he was driving. He thought that was really fun.

Then Rhonda came over and we BBQd and sat outside. Will went up and played on the hill with sticks and rocks. It was really relaxing. Around 7:30 we left to go to the Bellevue family 4th. There were a ton of people there but it was a lot of fun. We went to the kid's zone first and Will got into one of the toys where you jump around. Then we watched a puppet show and he thought it was really funny. After that we went and got choclate covered strawberries. It took forever to get them. Will's was still pretty wet and he took one bite and a piece fell off right onto Neil's shirt. Poor guy!

When the fireworks started Will was in awe. He thought they were so cool. About 5 min. into them though he started getting scared and put his blanket over his head, but then he recovered and started watching again. When they were over he started clapping and saying "yeah!!!". I asked him if he liked them and he said "yeah, but they were loud. They made my listening ears turn off. I have to turn them on again". LOL! He's so funny sometimes.
