39 weeks

Finally, some progress! I had a doc appt. this morning and I'm 3 cm! The doctor also did a partial membrane strip. My cervix was too high so she couldn't really do a full one, it was more like an aggressive pelvic exam and it hurt! We'll see if it helps at all. I guess I have been having some contractions, but like I told Neil, they don't really seem like contractions to me because with Will they were so intense that I was on the ground and couldn't walk, so anything less just seems like a braxton hicks contraction to me. I guess that ones I've been having have done some work though.

38 weeks

And still nothing! I've been having contractions but was informed by Dr. Stork that with your 2nd baby that doesn't mean anything always. You can have painful contractions that aren't even doing anything, which seems to be my case. I was so upset when she told me I was still closed. I just want this baby out. I'm very uncomfortable, especially with the pelvis pain. It makes it very hard to walk and is painful at times. My weight was up to 173, but really I don't think I gained anything because it was an afternoon appt. not morning like I usually have, so I weight a bit more.

Will's back!

It's so nice having him back. I really missed the kiddo. He is having a hard time listening and we are having to "retrain" him, but it's getting better. One thing he's doing great on is potty training! He has been wearing big boy underwear a lot and has only had a couple of accidents. I even took him to the mall in his underwear and he went pee at JC penny's and didn't have one accident. And he'll only pee standing up, which cracks me up. Seeing this little boy barely able to get his penis over the toilet is quite a site.

He's started getting embarrassed about pooping around us and will go and hide. He still goes in his diaper right when he wakes up from nap. So the pooping is goingn to be a bit of a struggle, but one thing at a time!

I miss him sooooooo much :(

Will has been with my parents since Friday (it's Wednesday) and I miss the little guy so much! He went to Omak with them and now is in Moses lake camping in the 5th wheel. He is having a blast, but man I miss him. Talking to him on the phone is when it's the worse. It has been nice to get things done around the house, and to have some me time since I'm so tired, but I still want him home. He was going to come back tomorrow but now I'm meeting mom in Cle Elum on Saturday to get him and I can't wait. I want some Will time before Gabby comes and I just miss my cute little munchkin.

37 week appt.

The good news is that I didn't gain any weight. And that's the only good news! I thought for sure I'd be at least 1cm along, but nothing. Completely closed. I just wanted something. I wasn't mentally prepared for her to arrive late like Will but now I'm fearing that. I'm just so ready. The main complaint is the restless legs at night. I can't fall asleep and all I want to do is get up and move around. That helps ,until I go back to bed, then the energy comes back.

And Neil wants her to arrive on time, not early. He's just not helping. He always has to be the voice of reason rather than let me just complain, which is what I want to do right now. He has no idea what it's like to be pregnant so of course for him it's no big deal for me to be pregnant 41 weeks. He also doesn't have to be home on Monday's and Fridays with Will by himself while he's 9 months pregnant. My energy has decreased, but Will's has increased!

Baby Shower

Yesterday was my baby showed and it was so much fun. It was a small one, only about 8 people, but that's just what I wanted. My mom did just about everything, including cleaning my whole house, making a dessert and making lasagna. She seriously spoiles me soooo much! Terry and Amy came up for it and Rhonda, Shan and Debbie were here.

Neil and Sean took Ian and Will out to Chuck E Cheese during the shower so it was just the girls. I got lots of nice things, including some really cute pink crocs that Ali, our neighbor, brought over the day before.

I also got a baby Papasan, Bumbo seat, diaper bag and tons and tons of clothes. This girl is set! Today my mom took me to Target and we got everything else I still needed, like a Boppy and cover, changing pad cover, organizer, and a going home outfit. Will left with mom to go to Omak and then camping so I had all day to organize. I'm so tired, but I've gotten a lot done. I'm not finished, but I have all week, assuming she doesn't decide to come early. I was freaking out about getting everything done but now I'm feeling really good about everything!
