Toofers!

Last night I saw that Gabby has two teeth coming in on the bottom! That's three months before Will did so I was a bit surprised. Luckily for me she is a good teether like Will was. She doesn't fuss and it doesn't seem to really bother her (knock on wood).

Go Speed Racer!

Go, go Speed Racer!

So Will is now doing chores around the house to earn money. He has to feed Chester, wipe down the table after dinner, and on Friday's he has to dust. If he does all of that he gets $3. $2 is for him to spend however he wants, $.50 goes into offering and $.50 goes into savings.

So what does he want to save for? A Speed Racer toy! It's going to take him awhile, but he's working for it! Yesterday I had some of his money in my pocket and he wanted to ride a toy at a store. I told him I didn't have any quarters but he could use his if he wanted. But if he used his that was less money that he would have for his speed racer toy. He chose not to ride on the toy! By golly, I think he gets it!

Bah, Bah, Bah

That is what Gabby sounds like now. All. The. Time. She is so cute! She does it as if she is talking to you and if you do it to her first she will respond with a "bah, bah, bah". She is also starting to pull herself up a ton and yesterday even attempted to cruise the kitchen a bit. I have a feeling she will be walking before a year!

Gabby is crawling!

On Sunday after we got home from Easter Gabby finally did it. She crawled! She decided to keep moving after taking two little steps (normally she'd take two little steps then fall to the ground). She only did it once that night and then the next day she kind of forgot that she had figured out to crawl. But by Tuesday she was all over the place! She is still a bit slow, but she's quickly figuring things out and realizes that a whole new world has been opened up to her. She's already getting into trouble by playing with all of our DVD's.

It's bittersweet. I love seeing her crawl and I know this is a fun stage, but it just reminds me that she is growing up and soon will not be a baby anymore. :(

Easter

Easter was a lot of fun this year!

We got up Sunday morning and went to the Easter breakfast at church. Will loved that. He ate an entire pancake, ham, sausage and fruit! That kid can really put away the food. Then we headed upstairs for the children's program. That is always interesting to watch the little kids sing. I have a few videos of Will that I will have to upload. At one point he was covering his ears because he thought the congegation was singing too loud. Then during the "I wish I were a butterfly" song, he got stuck on the octopus. While all the other kids were on to the worm, he was still being an octopus. Then his little buddy Cameron decided to fall down on the ground so Will soon followed. Soon they were both diving on to the ground instead of singing. Is it bad that I was laughing?

After church we went up to my cousin Pat's house to have Easter dinner with his family. By the time we got home it was 5pm and we were all tired. Gabby and Will looked very cute in their clothes! We had done an Easter egg hunt the day before out back at our house. Will loved looking for the eggs, then he decided he needed to hide them so we could find them. We've had to do it a few other days since then as well because he has so much fun.

My Son is Getting Married...

Last night during Will's bath we somehow started talking about him getting married.

Me: So who are you going to marry when you grow up?
Will: (Cousin) Ian.
Me: Honey, you can't marry your cousin. Who else would you like to marry?
Will: Nikki
Me: So are you and Nikki going to have a baby someday?
Will: No. I already have a baby.
Me: You do?
Will: Yes, Gabby is my baby.

Ahhh!

Will's fiance!
