Cannon Beach

We went to Cannon Beach with Drew, Karla and Kaden and had so much fun! The town we went to was actually called Manzanita, right outside of Cannon Beach. We rented a three bedroom house on the beach and the boys couldn't get enough of going down and playing in the sand. The weather was not great but they did not care.

The first day we were there it was sunny but really windy. We took the boys to the beach to play and Will and Kaden decided it would be fun to run from the waves. The would stand by them and then as they got close they would start screaming and run for the shore. This was all fine until one wave caught Will by the legs and he went face first into the cold water. He was soaking we, sand everywhere, and was not happy! And poor Neil had to carry this soaking wet boy about 1/2 mile back to the house. Despite all the that he still wanted to play at the beach the rest of the weekend.

The rest of the weekend was pretty mellow. We went into Cannon Beach and got some taffy, played on the beach and went out to lunch. On Saturday we took the boys to the Air Museum and then to the Tillamook Cheese factory, where Will not only ate his ice cream but got a hold of Neil's and mine! Outside there was a car show going on and music playing and Will couldn't get enough of the dancing. He didn't care that no one else was dancing, he just knew that he wanted to dance. It was really cute and Neil and I are still trying to figure out where he gets this from as we both hate to dance!!
